Job description
- You love the contact with customers? Customer visits to new and existing customers are your daily business
- You are looking for new business and you create a strong pipeline of potential customers in line with our BD strategy
- You are looking for proactive customer contact to identify opportunities, risks and cross-selling opportunities
- You keep your eyes and ears open to find and use new e-solution opportunities, innovative marketing and sales channels
- You enter your successes in our CRM and you can always ensure that SOPs are in place to ensure correct customer and business processing
- You also build up a network within the company and value good cooperation with other departments such as purchasing, operations, IT and finance
- You carry out credit checks for new customers before submitting an offer in accordance with the specifications and in coordination with the finance department
Applicant's profile
- Bachelor working and thinking level
- Needs preferably 5 years of sales experience within freight forwarding and logistics industry with proven sales record
- Excellent negotiation, questioning & presentation techniques
- Good sales techniques, concept sales, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
- Fluent in local language and profound English skills
- Profound competence in AIR & OCEAN as well as Import & Export
- Preferably specific competence and experience in a specific industry
International experience preferred
