Global Sales Director - FMCG H/F
Description de la mission
Within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Vertical Market within the Group Headquarter, GEODIS is looking for a Global Sales Director, on a permanent basis contract.
Your mission:
- You will enhance the intimacy with your assigned prospects/clients and boost global turnover
across all geographies and lines of businesses.
- You are the customer's central point of contact, and you will ensure a smooth coordination between GEODIS and your clients' affiliates, by leading your customer team being the ambassador of GEODIS.
Your main activities:
- Enhance the activities generated by your clients/prospects, focusing on mainly targeting new area of businesses
- Participate to the implementation of the Vertical Market Strategy
- Internally lead the customer team
- Manage and improve the profitability of the clients' portfolio
- Identify development business opportunities
- Coordinate responses Global RFQ's
- Maintain the CRM updated continuously
We would like to point out that this position requires European/International travelling (50 to 60% of the time).
Profil du candidat
Higher education (Bac + 5) such as High Business School business degree (Centrale, Mine, ESCP...)
You have at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain
You are known for being a true Team player with Analytical skills and demonstrate very
Positive attitude
Ability to actively listen and to transform customer challenges into concrete solutions by creating value added services.
You have good internal/external interpersonal skills.
C-Level interaction with proven negotiation expertise
You are fluent in English and French (both written and oral).
Fluency in a 3rd language is a plus (German / Spanish)
You are very familiar with Office package
