Job description
1. Deliver GP Budgets to the Territory
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure personal and group success, aligning with overall company goals.
3. Identify, establish, and nurture strong relationships with clients within the territory, focusing on those who meet our preferred client criteria
4. Engage and build commitment from the client base and key stakeholders, both internally and externally
5. Meet FaceTime targets through strategic visits, phone calls, and direct mail campaigns, engaging both new prospects and existing customers
6. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that surpass territory budgets and hit rates, ensuring sustainable growth
7. Promptly capture and track opportunities in CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
8. Utilize GEODIS Selling processes to fully understand clients' needs and stay informed about market development (new sailings/routings/solutions), providing innovative solutions that enhance clients' supply chains
9. Thoroughly document and share relevant customer information internally to support team collaboration
10. Proactively contact customers to address inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
11. Adhere to GSP (Global Sales Process) tools and methodologies to optimize sales performance
12. Work closely together with sales colleagues and related functions to maximize sales potentials and help meet the total organization's business goals
13. Handle complaints and troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining client trust
Applicant's profile
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience with a proven sales record
2. Strong sales experience and working knowledge of the international trade, transportation, and logistics industry
3. Familiarity with financial aspects of the local economy, international market conditions and trends, and international business issues, including currency factors and cultural differences
4. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and related software
5. Fluent in the local language and proficient in English; additional language skills are advantageous for managing customer and other contacts
6. Effective presentation skills, comfortable with presenting to small groups of 2-3 people
7. Understanding of company goals and strategies
