Job description
A variety of tasks are waiting for you, amongst others:
- Ensuring the Group's Health and Safety Policy is applied correctly in the Region,
- Updating occupational health and safety risk maps in collaboration with Country H&S Responsibles,
- Coordinating the implementation of risk prevention and management policies, as well as accident and crisis management processes,
- Defining concrete action plans with the spirit of continuous improvement (organization, technical solutions, tools, etc) and ensuring these actions are completed in a timely manner by the countries,
- Proposing KPIs to Regional Management and tracking those KPIs, and presenting the performance of the Region to the Management in Region & Group level,
- Coordinating certification processes decided by Group and Region,
- Developing and coaching all leaders/employees in the Region to be a flag carrier of health and safety rules,
- Searching for better practices through H&S Network.
Applicant's profile
You bring along:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree on a related field, an engineering background would be a plus,
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the above-described tasks, preferably in the logistics industry,
- Knowledge or experience with standards like ISO 45001 is considered as a plus,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,
- A passion to manage and resolve challenges and boost transformation,
- Excellent analytical skills and expert in communicating with diverse background of people,
- Strong passion to be an advocator for health and safety rules,
- Fluent in English and German, Italian would be considered as a plus,
- Willing to travel.
