Job description

• Creates a working environment that assures the Health and Safety (H&S) of workers in the Operations area, including identification and management of occupational risk.
• Manage Operations warehouse policies and procedures and work to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Manage all Operations warehouse operations, including priority setting, inspection, documentation, truck schedules, and all storage in the areas of the PMF.
• Recommends Physical capacity and layout and staffing for the operation.
• Assure all chemical products stored and managed appropriately (MSDS and Inventory control)
• Analyzes offshore supply problems/ discrepancies requiring action and conducts root cause and corrective actions. Creates recommendations for systemic inbound/ outbound issues resolution.
• Coordinates with Facility lead, Material coordinators, offshore operations, and another department leads within PMF.
• Support the employee life cycle including selection, monitoring daily employee performance, coaching, objective, and development, including performance deficiencies and motivation of Operations staff.
• Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns.
• Coordinates and oversees inbound and outbound local pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinates all after hours work
• Responsible the PMF has necessary Cargo Carrying units ( CCU) need for outbound to asset
• Responsible for Physical and system work for material Scrapping
• Responsible for On-site Supplies and material coordinator (order and replenishment)
• Monitors central email Monitor PMFShippingandreceiving1@bp.com email and action or distribute as appropriate. Will research SAP Queries/ issues and provide problem resolutions.
• Project management of cost savings, process improvements/ harmonization, and/or infrastructure changes.
• Attending training on subjects of ISO, safety, business controls, etc. and cascade to your team.
• Communicate with employees and other department supervisors and managers on a regular basis.
• Contribute to other company internal projects

Applicant's profile

• Has expert theoretical knowledge of distribution concepts as well as knowledge of best practices in the area of warehousing and physical distribution.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management systems & processes MS Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel,
• 5 years' experience as a supervisor or relevant role in Warehousing and/or Manufacturing area
• Order Fulfillment and Shipment
• Process Management
• Provider Performance Improvement
• Resource Planning and Scheduling
• Hazardous material certification

• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing people and developing teams.
• Experience using SAP to manage inventory and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cross functional team working
• Displaying willingness to improve and learn.
• Assume ownership of assignments, completing commitments on time
• Heavy equipment lifting and movement experience.
