Datalayer Services Manager H/F
Description de la mission
Geodis Datalayer Services Manager is the owner of the Cloudera Data Platform and its entire ecosystem (StarBurst, Dataiku, upcoming components).
S/He is the application owner / product owner, therefore, s/he is the one who defines platform software evolution, who anticipates platform scalability and plans the operations required accordingly
S/He implements and monitors FinOps indicators. He proceeds with adjustments and anticipate appropriate actions to feet with budget allocation
S/He has a high level transversal view of projects and data cases to be able to anticipate on ressources consumption
S/He is the key coordinator between infrastructure and middleware teams who functionally report to him in the course of DL topics
S/He can act also as a facilitator with project teams in the course of their developments/implementations in the datalayer
The dataplatform owner interacts on a regular basis with Group Chief Architect Officer to implement new platform components or the solutions designed by the Enterprise Architecture team for new and future use cases
S/He guarantees with the support of teams that the platform is monitored and supervised with the good level of quality (incl topics implemented by LoBs &/or Regions)
S/He defines and communicates the platform operational calendar : planned releases, upgrades etc.
S/He animates the datalayer community with regular communication on best pratices, tips, information from Cloudera editor
S/he has strong communication skills and a commitment to communicate. S/he is familiar with and an advocate of Scrum/Agile/DevSecOps methodologies.
