We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join our Canada Freight Forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business in the designated territory.

Applicant's profile

Responsibilities:
• In charge of for new business development
• Directly responsible for Net Sales and more importantly Gross Profit on a customer and shipment level through personal efforts
• Active in external sales to primarily potential customers but also current customers acquired or assigned
• Sales focused across all products and services to ensure diversification of new business
• Consistently update CRM (Salesforce) in a timely manner and ensure that all key fields are updated for country and regional reporting
• Determines effective sales penetration strategy in conjunction with directives from reporting superior
• Developing/maintaining excellent relations with medium to larger accounts
• Responsible for recording expenses in compliance portal

Requirements:
• 5-7 years of Freight Forwarding sales experience
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or related field
• A Hunter with a strong understanding of sales principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
• Experience in account management and technical sales is a plus
