Job title

Supply Chain Specialist (Senior/Junior) M/F

Job description

1. First point of contact for customer/partners/carriers for operational support for end-to-end
logistics activities, including booking, imports, exports, warehousing, inventory management, local delivery, loss and damage claim handling etc.
2. Coordinating with various oversea regional forwarders, brokers and warehouse operators and local distributors to support timely receipt and delivery of shipments to customers.
3. Review and ensure the quality of all shipment reports, evaluate information sources for accuracy, reliability and relevance.
4. Handling escalation cases and critical shipment orders from customers. Efficiently coordinate with customers and various oversea regional teams to resolve logistics supply chain issues in timely manners, satisfying customers' requirements.
5. Carry out weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting
6. Assist the manager to organize, reviews and prepare KPI report
7. Be flexible to assist other team members with related task as required.
8. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Applicant's profile

Majors in Logistics/Supply chain/International Trade/Business English are preferrable.
Good understanding of English in reading, writing, and speaking to meet daily business communication requirements.
Related working experience in Shipping line, freight forwarding industry is a plus.
Solid knowledge on import/export process in Asia Pacific countries.
Being experienced user of one or more IT systems used within the freight forwarding industry and MS Office applications.
Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) and have good intercultural skills.
Customer-oriented, creative and a representative team player.
