Job description

The Freight Forwarding National Project Logistics Manager leads and manages the business growth of the LP Product at national level, in compliance with the local regulations and GEODIS business strategies

Applicant's profile

Implementation of the freight forwarding national Logistics Projects strategy
Run the business strategies and plans for FF Logistics Projects at national level, in line with the regional strategies
Monitor the overall business performance, build national strategic plans
Define, monitor and validate the budget of the scope
Monitor, ensure the fluidity of the freight forwarding LP operations, the performance and the customer satisfaction under the scope in terms of quality, productivity, CSR-HSE standards, norms and business growth
Promote and maintain compliance with all international transportation regulations
Monitor the respect and efficiency of the current processes and procedures related to FF LP
Guarantee processes and process alignment with European partners, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Customer relationship management
Build professional relationships with customers, ocean carriers, airlines, road hauliers and international agents, create positive customer experiences
Play a key role in driving and supporting customer retention initiatives
Reporting and analysis
Set and monitor customer satisfaction targets, monitor financial reports and statements
Analyze the efficiency and productivity of activities through the appropriate KPIs and define action plan
Support and guidance
Provide expertise in the operational activities, coaching and consulting services to the local management teams to solve significant business, people and compliance issues
Be a specific point of contact to the local teams performance and their development, for clients, providing guidance on documentation requirements
Empower the teams to provide the best possible service, iterate ways to improve performance, efficiency, and efficacy based on customer feedback
Continuously seek out new areas for improvement, provide recommendations to management for informed decision-making
Contribute to the reputation of the employer brand
Team management
Set individual goals and objectives to achieve operational results, conduct people reviews, assess performance
Encourage, challenge, motivate and develop the team in a positive working environment
Ensure information is disseminated appropriately
Remain up to date on current trends, developments and best practices in the international trade industry
