Stand-by service employee
As a standby service employee, you will be responsible for processing the emergency orders outside of business hours.
Geodis will provide you with a stand-by phone and a correct and detailed onboarding procedure. 
You will be fully trained and guided through the full process. 

Within this role you will be on stand-by from:
	Monday – Friday from 7pm – 11pm 
	Saturday &amp; Sunday from 7am – 11pm 
In total 52 hours per week.

During these stand-by shifts, you will receive a standard standby allowance of 3.40 euro per hour. 
When you are called, the at that moment applicable allowance will be applied per hour, these are:
	Monday – Friday 19,54 euro
	Saturday 22,55 euro
	Sunday 30,06 euro

When you will receive a standby call, it is mandatory to be on-site within 30 minutes after the call.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The Freight Forwarder is responsible for the operational and administrative execution of import and export services for our freight forwarding customers. The Freight Forwarder arranges shipments and sends freight cargo as efficiently as possible while taking costs, quality and lead time into account. The Freight Forwarder also has an advising role and thinks of ways to enhance freight shipments. 

Key Activities / Accountabilities;

Providing services to customers in accordance with SLA, SOP or other contractual obligations
•	Participates in the execution of operational activities;
•	Ensure independent execution of freight forwarding activities;
•	Set objectives and priorities using knowledge and ability to make profitable business decisions;
•	Book shipments and distribute information into files and calculate charges;
•	Negotiate and discuss buying rates on shipment level;

•	Close file, print airway bills (AWB), pass invoices &amp; credit notes;
•	Post information in the various IT systems (Next Gen, G360, Fiton, etc.) timely &amp; correctly.

•	Follows through on customer inquiries, requests and complaints;
•	Develop and maintain relationships with (high potential) accounts, overseas agents, sister offices and Shipping lines;

•	2 – 3 years' experience in logistics;

•	Knowledge of customs, import &amp; export processes and industry regulations.
•	Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) which needs to be renewed every two years;
